# aika

Converters for Arvelie and Neralie, in C, Python and POSIX shell.

[Arvelie](https://wiki.xxiivv.com/site/arvelie.html) is a calendar and
[Neralie](https://wiki.xxiivv.com/site/neralie.html) a decimal clock. Both are by
[Devine Lu Linvega](https://wiki.xxiivv.com/).

## Building

    make
    sudo make install

That installs the binaries, man pages, and shell completions. Building needs `gcc`,
`make`, and `scdoc`; the Python versions need `python3`, and the shell versions any
POSIX shell.

## Usage

    arvelie [DATE]      convert a date (YYYY-MM-DD, YYYYMMDD), or today
    neralie [TIME]      convert a time (HH:MM[:SS]), or now
    neralie -c          run a continuous clock

Each has a man page: `man arvelie`, `man neralie`.
